Description
Thatill Do is a Breyer Mini Whinnie Jog Trot Quarter Horse Mare painted a flaxen chestnut frame over with a wide blaze, one blue eye and one brown eye, one white sock, and a matte finish. I’ve had a decent go at removing her seams and logo, but these little equines are meant as fun shelf pieces and not Live (or Photo) Show competitors.
Thatill actually stood fine on her own, but I was having fun making the bases and I had an itch to make a fence… 😅
She’s permanently attached to a wooden base with a stained fence and model train grass. The grass and fence are attached with wood glue and the model is attached with superglue, so the whole thing’s decently sturdy.
The Jog Trot mold is roughly 2.25 inches long, 1.25 inches high, and a half-inch wide. With the base, this gal is a little closer to an inch wide but is otherwise mostly the same. Breyer claims they’re all 1:64 scale, but Mini Whinnies molds tend to vary a lot in relative size.
You can find more photos of her over on Martha.net.
